Permanent Makeup is the art and science of implanting pigment into the dermal layer of the skin. This form of tattooing using a digital machine is done by Kelly Himes at Studio 1146 Salon & Spa. Strict sterilization and sanitation guidelines are followed in accordance with the Iowa Department of Public Health, OSHA, and the CDC.

Kelly at Studio 1146 Salon & Spa offers Permanent Eyeliner, Eyebrows, Lip Liner or Full Lip Color. Each service includes a consultation and two (2) applications. The second application is a follow-up visit for touch-up work that may be necessary. Topical anesthetics are used to make sure the procedure is as comfortable as possible.

Kelly strives to achieve a natural look, not replace cosmetics completely. For an evening look, you can always apply additional make-up.
